Akindele heads our Asset management business. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Investment One Financial Services Group, developing and managing portfolios for Affluent and corporate clients and rose to become the head of its Wealth Management and Trusteeship Division. Akindele started his Career in 2008 with BGL Securities Limited, working with their client coverage and securities business, before proceeding to Sterling Bank. 

He has gained vast experience in Business Development and origination, Strategy, and Asset Management; and was a lead advisor to the 8th National Assembly committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions. Akindele holds a bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Actuarial Science from University of Lagos and has attended a wide range of senior executive courses.
